Medieval Library Exhibition

Heritage Open Day: A unique chance to see items from the Cathedral Medieval Library Get up close with some of the highlights from the Cathedral Library, brought down to the Chapter House on the ground floor of the Cathedral. As the library is normally accessed via a spiral staircase and by appointment only, it’s wonderful to be able to break down the barriers that prevent people visiting. The display will be made up of our volunteers' favourite items ranging from when the Cathedral was a medieval abbey, through to more modern times.
