Bramhope Puritan Chapel

Heritage Open Day: Take a look around this Grade I listed chapel built in 1649, a rare example of a church built specifically for Puritan worship. In addition to looking around the chapel you can hear some of its history and of the people associated with the chapel. The chapel was used for worship until 1881 and has been owned by Bramhope & Carlton Parish Council since 1974.

Talks will be regulary given about the history of the chapel during the opening hours.
