Damhouse, Historical Manor House with Tea Room

Heritage Open Day: Damhouse is a Grade II* listed Manor House in 17acres of Woodland. It is currently owned by Morts Astley Heritage Trust and houses a Tea Room, offices and function rooms. The historical part of the building remains as it was in the 1500s. On the Heritage Open Days there will be access to the top floor of the building, which has a short passage long gallery with many ancient timbers. There will be information displays, talks and tours throughout the weekend.

The hall has a rich history and has been a Manor house since the 1500s , an administration to a fever hospital, and is now looked after by the Trust to be preserved for the community.
