Saint Joseph's Church 140th Anniversary
Heritage Open Day: The new church of Saint Joseph's was erected in 1885 and celebrates 140 years of the new church building. On Saturday the 20th September 2025, St Joseph's Church, Sale will open its doors to members of the community.
A timeline of the history of the church has been created through media, photographs and written documentation.
On the day of the event, there will be organ recitals throughout the day, the church registers will be available for viewing and refreshments will be served. The local historian will also be available to do brief tours.
