Heritage Open Day: The City of Norwich School is open to the public on Saturday 20th September from 1000 to 1400 for the Norfolk Heritage festival. City of Norwich School, an Ormiston Academy, was established in 1910 as a boys' grammar school and proudly carries over 115 years of heritage in Norfolk. The original building is still in use today and the school's rich history is well documented with an extensive collection of archive material.
As part of the festival, CNS warmly welcomes the public to explore its legacy. Visitors can browse a fascinating exhibition of archive photographs, portraits, and treasured memorabilia dating back to the school’s founding. Guided tours are offered by current students and former students frequently return to reconnect with old memories and share stories from their time at CNS.
Free parking and refreshments available.
