Crawshawbooth Quaker Meeting House

Heritage Open Day: Early 18th Century 2* listed Meeting House situated in a walled peace garden/burial ground near the Limey Water and pack horse bridge with an attached cottage originally built for a teacher and school as was needed at the time. Historical information We are an active worshipping community of Friends situated in a small village of east Lancashire in the Limey Valley of Rossendale. We recently had the stable underneath the cottage converted to have an accessible toilet for wheelchair users and baby change facilities and a new kitchen replaces the previous site in the small Meeting room also, giving more space there.
