The area of the Black Country now known as Sandwell was known in the Industrial revolution for heavy industry. But out of the smoke and grime there were people producing beautiful decorative items such as stained-glass, studio pottery, enamels and paintings. This exhibition showcases these beautiful items made in what is now Sandwell.
