Forest of Dean Pubs
Heritage Open Day: Geoff Sandles of Gloucestershire Pubs website will give a talk on Forest of Dean pubs past and present. Geoff Sandles has amassed a vast amount of photos, memorabilia and general information about pubs, hotels and breweries accoross Gloucestershire, past and present. In this talk Geoff will focus on the history of Forest of Dean pubs with pictures of old pubs long forgotten, and old and new pictures of pubs and buildings still standing. As one of the oldest pubs in the area the recently renovated Olde White Hart Inn in Coleford is an ideal location for Geoff's talk. The talk will be in the function room and the bar will be open.
