The Foord Almshouses

Heritage Open Day: Join us on a guided tour of the Almshouses during the Heritage Open Days to discover the fascinating stories of the Foord Almshouses. The Foord Almshouses is opening its doors to the public, as it has done to its residence since 1927, for the opportunity to join us on accompanied tours of the site and maybe the opportunity to see inside an Almshouse flat or two. There will be the opportunity to ask questions & refreshments will be provided. All are welcome. We are a largely flat/accessible site but some entrances to doorways can be narrow if requiring access via a wheelchair. Access to the Main Hall is all on one level.
