Heritage Open Day: Beautiful flower festival to celebrate our special church.
Exhibition about the architecture of St Wilfrid’s and the village history.
Children’s architectural treasure hunt around the church. The church is a beautiful building on the edge of the village, surrounded by farmland. It was built in 1850 on the site of an older church. The church has some unique features. There are many spectacular stained glass windows, with two in particular having been designed by Theodora Salusbury, a famous artist and craftswoman in the Arts and Crafts style who worked during the 1930s. In addition, there is a very rare American reed organ that was built by the Arolian Organ Company.
