St Andrew's Church Castle Combe - Towers in the Bybrook

Heritage Open Day: Local volunteers will be on hand to answer questions about the tower and its contents (working medieval faceless clock) on 12th and 13th September 11am-4pm. Bybrook Towers trail and quiz. Visitors can access the church in daylight hours throughout the festival period. Take a tour around the Grade I listed church interior using either the paper guide or the info point tour that can be accessed on a smartphone. Normally unmanned, local volunteers will be in the church on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th September between 11am and 4pm to answer any questions about the church but this year's focus will be on the church tower, which was built in in the 1400s and is in its original state.. The rest of the church required major building repair and rebuilding in the mid 1800s. Pick up a quiz about the church towers around the Bybrook Benefice and see if you can complete it by the end of the festival!
