Hertford Castle Heritage Day
Heritage Open Day: Hertford Town Council will host its annual Heritage Day at Hertford Castle. The event fosters the spirit of Hertford by celebrating its rich historical and cultural heritage with a day of activities and entertainment, including Castle Open Day. Visitors are invited to step back in time and experience the beautiful Hertford Castle lawn transformed to include a small settlement of interactive medieval encampments. Visitors will also be able to enjoy a full programme of entertainment including archery, fire breathing, storytelling and Viking battle re-enactments.
Hertford Castle is a magnificent Grade I listed building, which dates from the mid-15th century.
