Atherstone Library's Home Front Display

Heritage Open Day: The library will be showing a small display about life in Atherstone and the surrounding area during the World War II including photographs and other material from the local studies collection. Material from the collection will reflect aspects of life in Atherstone and may include information about evacuees, Prisoners of War, rationing, air raids an other associated themes. If you have a family story, or photographs about life in Warwickshire during this time please let staff know as we would like to add them to our collection for others to share.

If you are unable to visit in person, the countywide online exhibition can be seen on the library website.
