Heritage Open Day: Explore Petworth House, a magnificent Treasure House displaying one of the finest art collections in the care of the National Trust, nestled in a 700-acre deer park. Join us over the Petworth Heritage weekend to explore the extraordinary art collection in the striking state rooms of the Baroque-inspired House. Take a stroll in the expansive Capability Brown landscaped Park, where you might spot some of the fallow deer herd. Relax in the Pleasure Garden, the perfect place for a picnic. The servants' quarters, by contrast, offer a glimpse of life 'below stairs'. Step inside some of these rooms and imagine the hustle and bustle of servant life.
