Heritage Open Day: Stunning photographs of Downham Market's buildings and architecture The photography exhibition on the ground floor of the town hall depicts the Heritage Open Day “Architecture†theme perfectly. All the photographs have been taken by the Downham & District U3A Photography For Fun Group.
With such a vast selection of buildings and architecture to choose from in the town, it was up to group members to vote for the 20 photographs on display.
This group of amateur photographers meets monthly to learn photography principles and tips for smartphones and digital SLR cameras. The majority of photos in the exhibition were taken in the last month or two. The group regularly visits National Trust properties, towns and gardens to develop their photography skills.
