Christ's Hospital of Abingdon
Heritage Open Day: Visit the 15th century Long Alley Almshouses Hall and see its historic collection of paintings and artefacts. There will be an exhibition showing Christ's Hospital's contribution through the centuries to the architecture of the town of Abingdon. The Hall is not usually open to the public. Almshouse residents use it as a social centre and Governors hold a monthly meeting here.
