Armley: Unassuming, Unorthodox and Enterprising

Heritage Open Day: Steve Thornton is a long time Armley resident and enthusiast. His illustrated talk will highlight some of the famous people who have helped to shape - and been shaped by - Armley. The talk will also feature some slightly less well known individuals and organisations who have continued to ensure that Armley remains unassuming, unorthodox and enterprising. The talk will also be an opportunity to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Grade 2 listed Christ Church, built 153 years ago in the Gothic Revival style.
