Heritage Open Day: Established in 1895, St Andrews CE Church is an Anglican Church that welcomes everybody and will be opening its doors to the public to enable visitors to learn about the church and its history. The church has organised a number of activities to coincide with this year's Heritage Open Day Festival which include:
*A floral arranging demonstration at 11:00am
*Learn to be a chorister (suitable from year 5 to adult), 3 or 4 songs in our choir stalls with our organist 12:30pm- 15:30pm - then wear choir robes and perform the songs in a short evensong service at 16:00pm.
*Discover the heritage of the church building
*Visit Commonwealth War Graves
*Take art in a quiz/history trail (children and adult versions available)
*Research your Family tree/graves
Refreshments will be made available throughout the day too.
