Explore this hidden gem, meet passionate volunteers, enjoy our new café, and discover the past at the former Potteries – now the On-Your-Side Centre! Step into the past this September and explore one of Great Yarmouth’s hidden historical gems. As part of Heritage Open Days, we are opening the doors of the Herring Smokehouse Museum at 18 Trinity Place – the oldest surviving herring smokehouse in Great Yarmouth.
