Gt Yarmouth Minster – Explore the Heights: Bell Tower Tours

Heritage Open Day: Climb the tower to the ringing chamber, and meet our bell ringers! Discover the history and skill behind bell ringing in this unique
behind-the-scenes experience. Fun, informative, and open to all—don’t miss it! Step inside one of the church’s most fascinating spaces as we open up the bell tower for a special family-friendly event. This is a unique opportunity to explore the inner workings of the tower, learn about its history, and experience the age-old tradition of bell ringing first-hand.

Our team of dedicated bell ringers will be on hand throughout the day to demonstrate how the bells are rung and share the skill, rhythm, and teamwork that go into this centuries-old practice.
