Built in 1621, this beautifully preserved timber-framed house began as the home and shop of a prosperous butcher. Over the centuries, it transformed into various establishments, before becoming a museum in 1929. Experience 17th-century life through meticulously recreated
rooms furnished with authentic period pieces. From the dining parlour to the bedchambers, immerse yourself in the daily life of the Jacobean era.
