Heritage Open Day: A week of Open Days of this important Dorset church. An important example of the Perpendicular style of architecture and is still essentially the building as completed in 1455. Sculptured heads of Henry VI, the king when the church was built, and his queen, Margaret of Anjou, face each other across the nave. The font is of the same date as the church. The west tower, looking out over Lyme Bay, continues to be a notable landmark. There will be an opportunity for a tower tour on Saturday 20th, please contact the church via the website to book. Donations for the upkeep are very welcome.
