Heritage Open Day: Nothe Fort is Weymouth's number one heritage attraction. Located at the entrance to Weymouth Harbour, the Fort offers excellent 360 degree views across Dorset's Jurassic Coast. Nothe Fort - a Victorian engineering masterpiece built as a coastal defence, which is now one of Dorset’s best loved heritage attractions.
Come and join our friendly and knowledgeable team of volunteers for a unique insight into how this much-loved Victorian fort was secretly utilised during the latter part of the Cold War.
