Heritage Open Day: The East Anglia Methodist Heritage Centre (at Wighton) Open Day gives the chance to learn about the history and impact of the Methodist Church in East Anglia with short talks throughout the day. The event includes a 30 minute Hymn sing-a-long. The East Anglia Methodist Heritage Centre, situated in Wighton (between Wells Next the Sea and the pilgrimage centre of Walsingham, Norfolk) is holding an Open Day to give visitors the chance to learn about the history and impact of the Methodist Church in East Anglia over the past two hundred years. The Heritage Centre, which is housed in the former Primitive Methodist Chapel in the village, is a treasure trove of artefacts telling the story of the church through archive material, photos, pictures, ceramics and books.
