Echoes of Daventry Calling; Borough Hill Architecture and Historic Bus Tours

Heritage Open Day: Discover the historic and current structures on Borough Hill in our Echoes of Daventry Calling exhibition, celebrating 100 years of broadcasting. Themed activities include paper house making, visual displays and photographs and vintage bus rides. The architectural history of Borough Hill, Daventry dates back to its days as an Iron-age Hill Fort and most recently as the site of BBC Broadcasting station's 5XX and Empire buildings.

Daventry Museum will be open from 10am to 4pm.

Photographs from the 1920s to date will be on display, including the dismantling of the 152 metre tall masts in the 1990s. Special activities will be available to enjoy, all themed around architecture and the Echoes of Daventry Calling exhibition.
