Reading Synagogue

Heritage Open Day: Visitors will be able to view and hear about a traditional synagogue from the guides who will be present on the day.

There will also be a Jewish Living Exhibition which has been prepared by the Board of Deputies of British Jews. Grade II listed building which has undergone a complete restoration of the roof and cupola as a result of a substantial grant. Reading Synagogue is a traditional synagogue in a Moorish Style that opened on 31st October 1900 and is still in regular use.
