Heritage Open Day: Join us for a day of entertainment at Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall operates as a registered charity, dedicated to preserving its historic legacy while enriching the cultural and social fabric of our community. The Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Hall is a locally listed building situated in Upper Clifton Road and is a place of inimitable character and regal charm. Over the course of its existence and near constant evolution, the Town Hall has at one time or other functioned either solely or simultaneously as; a hotel, a hospital, a theatre, a meeting place for councillors and even, for a time, a fire station.
Local amateur dramatic groups including Sutton Coldfield Youth Musical Theatre, CLOC and more will be performing throughout the day. Sutton Coldfield Movie Makers will also be showing a variety of short films throughout the day featuring various aspects of Sutton Coldfield’s past.
