Heritage Open Day: Visit a restored Victorian Kitchen Garden planted with vegetables, trained fruit trees and flower borders. We also have a magnificent Victorian style greenhouse with a display of Cambridgeshire heritage apples and history of Abbey House. Visit a typical Victorian Walled Garden which has been restored by volunteers. The 1 acre garden has plantings of vegetables, fruit, flowers, herbaceous borders, salvia borders, dahlia bed and herb garden. We have a 30m long Victorian style greenhouse. The garden has an apple tunnel planted with 20 varieties of locally bred apples. We will have a display detailing history of the local apple varieties .as well as a display illustrating the history of Abbey House for which this was the garden.
