Heritage Open Day: Yearly flower festival in st Andrew’s church Kilverstone. Round tower church dating from 11th century Restored in 1906 at the expense of £2500 by Josiah Vavasseur Esq Contains a beautiful carved oak pulpit, floor of black and grey marble, carved angels and stained glass windows. A service is still held once a month and the church contains lots of memorials tracing the history of the church and of Kilverstone itself. At the top of the church drive is a war memorial that was restored a few years ago and then rededicated.
