Hope Foundry Tour
Heritage Open Day: MAP Charity open up Grade II listed Hope Foundry and invite you to discover more about the site's origins and current usage. Dating back to 1812, Hope Foundry is firmly rooted in Mabgate's rich industrial history. After a recent refurbishment in 2023, the site now homes over 15 creative businesses and charities - including MAP Charity's own education centre which teaches some of the same skills that revolutionised the textile industry over 100 years ago. The tour will consist of a brief overview of the charity, the site's current usage and a look at some of the heritage features discovered during the refurb.
