Exhibition: The Aclands of Killerton in the 1920s

Heritage Open Day: Devon History Society explore the public service of Eleanor and Frances Acland in the 1920s. The exhibition shows the way in which Eleanor and Frances Acland, who moved into Killerton House from Sprydoncote in 1923, made a major contribution to public life by their roles in politics and in championing causes such as the co-operative movement, rural housing, women’s health and the peace movement.
