Interesting people buried in the churchyard. We will cover the history of St John's, from 1838 to the present day, looking at the development of the building over the years and the people who have played a role in the church.
The churchyard contains the graves of many influential local people: bankers, industrialists, merchants, sports stars and outstanding public servants. Also buried or commemorated at St John's are local people who died in World War I and II.
