Heritage Open Day: What's special about Victoria Hall? Splendid Victorian architecture, of course - but the real excitement is what people do here!
Drop in to meet current users, including Saltaire Swans and Cinema Organ Society volunteers. Victoria Hall is at the heart of Saltaire World Heritage Site. Its ornately decorated main hall, gymnasium and meeting rooms have hosted events since 1871. Titus Salt gave this building to encourage educational and leisure pursuits for local people. Today, the Salt Foundation promotes wider use of Victoria Hall, working with Shipley College as its managing agent.
