Heritage Open Day: A restored Victorian garden in the centre of Norwich, with a Gothic fountain and Italianate terrace, formal planting and woodland walks. The Plantation Garden welcomes you to visit on Sunday 14th September as part of the Heritage Open Day Festival 2025. The Garden will be open to visitors free of charge throughout the day - 9am to 6pm - afternoon tea refreshments on sale between 2pm and 5pm. We are delighted to announce the music programme for the day:
1pm Bel Sonus Choir
2pm Beet Street Band
3pm Sonrisa
4pm Saxobility
Information boards placed around the Garden tell the history of the making of the Garden, its decline in the mid-20th century, and its re-discovery and restoration from 1980 onwards.
In addition, between 2pm and 5pm, The Plantation Garden will be selling a range of succulents and perennial plants for visitors to take home and enjoy in their own gardens.
