ADINKRA UNVEILED - A Glance Through an Expressive Portal at Akan Codes or Cyphers

Heritage Open Day: Whenever Hieroglyphs are mentioned, we immediately think of Egyptian Hieroglyphics. Globally, as humans, we use Cryptograms daily yet may not realise this. A discussion of West African Akan Hieroglyphics, including creative expression, will take place at this workshop. The workshop will be a fun and immersive session, where participants are invited to create their Codes or Cyphers, as well as learn about Akan Hieroglyphics.
