Heritage Open Day: Visit Hungerford's Heritage Festival for Harvest Festival Wheatsheaf Loaf workshop, Morris Dancing, have a go at traditional crafts and the chance to meet the producers who are keeping rural traditions alive including venison and bee-keeping. Hungerford Heritage Market pays tribute to the rich heritage of British food and rural life. There will also be an opportunity to have a go at dyeing, spinning wool and woodworking, mill your own flour, make your own butter and a harvest festival wheatsheaf loaf, meet the experts in bee-keeping and venison.
On top of all this there will be live music, cooking demonstrations, street food and a wide selection of wonderful local food, produce and gifts from local farmers and artisans including bread, honey, cheese, pies, meat, produce, cakes and preserves.
