MK Q:mmunity Tales – Not Going Underground

Heritage Open Day: Q:alliance’s exhibition of LGBTQ+ life in MK 1967 - 2025 is full of joy, heartache & many surprises. For the first time we’re bringing together an archive of oral histories, photos & artefacts illustrating the richness of LGBTQ+ heritage in our city. The Milton Keynes LGBTQ+ Heritage Project has unearthed an incredible amount of information from archives, shared memorabilia, interviews and discussions at monthly History Clubs.
LGBTQ+ people have not always been visible in the MK community, but has always existed.
