Heritage Heroes: Community Volunteering

Heritage Open Day: Join us for a rewarding morning of conservation volunteering, restoring this historic limestone and unique habitat to support local wildlife as part of our MK HODs series. Be a Heritage Hero and help protect this special corner of our natural heritage for generations to come! If you fancy a go at volunteering why not come along and help us restore this historic limestone! You might even find some fossils too!

Blisworth Limestone is a unique and rich part of our local geological heritage and provides a unique home for specialist mosses, lichens, invertebrates, and wildflowers. Over time, these features can become lost to scrub, moss and vegetation.
