Heritage Open Day: This Grade II-listed Midland Railway Signal Box will be open for visitors. It has recently been restored to mirror how it would have looked in the early 1960s when it was still a fully operating Signal Box. It has recently been restored to mirror how it would have looked in the early 1960s when it was still a fully operating Signal Box. Volunteers will be available on the day to demonstrate how the levers worked. There is a pleasant garden beside the Signal Box, and, the nearby Waiting Room Cafe, for refreshments. On the lower level of the Signal Box, information boards are populated with the history of the Midland Railway in the local area, and the story of Warmley Signal Box.
