Assembly House, meet the kids behind our new heritage guide!

Heritage Open Day: Come and see the Assembly House through the eyes of 8-14 year olds. Our young guides have worked & played hard to find the juiciest details from the House's past, and launched their own paper guide. For one day only, come and hear it from them. We have long wanted to make the fascinating, gruelling, uplifting stories of the Assembly House more accessible. So we teamed up with some children and a designer to do just that. We've worked together to immerse ourselves in tales and the remaining physical structures of the House, through drama, play and design and we're here to tell you all about it. Come and meet our young guides alongside our regular art historian, Roxanne Matthews, in this drop-in event of talks, chats and wonder. Don't forget to pick up your very own copy of their work.
