Heritage Open Day: See inside Nailsworth’s iconic Grade II Listed Clock Tower, set in a public garden at the meeting point of the main roads The Grade II listed Clock Tower is located within a floral garden at the meeting point of the main roads in Nailsworth. It is frequently illuminated for special events such as the Queen's Jubilee and is also decorated with Poppies for Remembrance Day. The present Town Clock was completed in 1952 as a War Memorial and replaced an earlier clock which was mounted in a temporary wooden tower beside the road below St George's church.
