Talk: Celebrating the Plunkett Prize
Heritage Open Day: Join NNAS members, and the competition panel, at Hungate for a free talk on the inspiration and context of our new competition, The Plunkett Prize Photographic Competition. Includes a chance to view an exhibition of the shortlisted images. George Stephen, Norwich City Librarian, Created the Norfolk Survey in 1913. George Plunkett was born in Norwich in the same year; he acquired his first camera in 1931, and in the years that followed he photographed, developed and printed over one thousand rolls of film, most of which recorded Norwich and Norfolk. Both men were stalwarts of NNAS.
In 2025, NNAS inaugurated a new photography competition, recording Norfolk, its people and places, present and past.
