Heritage Open Day: Enjoy a free day out at Trerice on Saturday 20 September and explore its Elizabethan manor house and beautiful gardens. Local folk group, Ryp an Mor, will be performing a selection of folk music outside to accompany your visit. Spend a day exploring Trerice for free on Heritage Open Day on Saturday 20 September!
Trerice features a grand Elizabethan manor house on a small scale, with impressive period features and a varied collection. The house is surrounded by a varied garden, including an Elizabethan knot garden, a Cornish kayling lawn and cottage borders.
There will be outdoor Tudor-inspired games to play, as well as the much loved game of Cornish kayles.
For Heritage Open Day, local folk music group, Ryp an Mor (meaning 'by the sea') will return to perform a selection of folk music for visitors to enjoy outdoors.
