Crossing Continents: Fiona Harrison and Ricardo Curbelo in Concert

Fiona Harrison (Classical /Spanish Guitar)

“An extremely persuasive artist with immaculate tone and perfectly balanced technique” – Classical Guitar magazine

Ricardo Curbelo (Harp, Cuatro, Maracas, Vocals)

“I have never heard the harp played like this and I loved it!” – Haslemere Educational Museum, Surrey.

Join these two accomplished soloists on a vibrant and exciting journey showcasing a wide variety of music from Latin America, Spain, France and beyond.

Innovative Latin American harpist, composer and poet Ricardo Curbelo performs his Matiz work, which combines traditional music from different Latin American countries, together with his own, spellbinding compositions. Energetic and jazzy pieces contrast with enchanting melodies and tender vocals. Ricardo is delighted to share this concert with wonderful guitarist and engaging performer, Fiona Harrison, who will also perform a wide ranging programme of music, crossing cultures and centuries from the baroque to the contemporary.

Fiona and Ricardo first shared the stage in 2018, at Lauderdale House, Highgate. Here is just one of the many compliments they received:

“A wonderful, inspirational concert. Thank you both so much.”

Come along and see for yourselves!
