We invite you to a wonderful afternoon concert consisting of three classical favourites: Sibelius Karelia Overture, Weber Clarinet Concerto No 1, soloist Birce Kayhan, and Dvorak Symphony no 6 in D, Op 60. We look forward to presenting such a contrasting trio of pieces starting with the Karelia overture in the beautiful and dark mood favoured by Sibelius, followed by the scintillating clarinet concerto No 1 by Weber, soloist the exciting Birce Kayhan. We conclude with the weighty and beautiful Symphony no 6 by Dvorak a perennial favourite by music lovers. Refreshments will be served in the interval. We would love to welcome you to our concert.
