The 46th Chesterfield and District Festival Of Remembrance

The Festival Of Remembrance Committee is presenting the 46th Chesterfield and District Festival Of Remembrance on November 6th, 2025. We respectfully request you to come along and support this part of Chesterfields period of Remembrance. This Event at the Winding Wheel Chesterfield whilst entertaining is a respectful and inclusive way to support this period. Whilst not the Albert Hall, it provides audience participation in the Concert and Service sections in order to REFLECT, RESPECT and of all REMEMBER all those who have served and still serve our SOVEREIGN and COUNTRY. Several dignitaries and Civic Leaders representing Chesterfield, North East Derbyshire and Chesterfield District will be in attendance to support this not for profit production. Our Guest of Honour will be His Majesty's Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire, Mrs. Elizabeth Fothergill CBE. We are also expecting Chelsea Pensioners to attend. Sponsors and supporters include, Civic Dignities from North East Derbyshire District Council, Chesterfield Borough Council. Inspire Training. The Royal Engineers Association, Chesterfield and District Combined Services, The Royal British Legion will also be Supporting the production which will include a Drumhead Service. This Event will involve Local Cadet Units to include Navy, Army, Air Force and Marine Cadets. We are also pleased to confirm once again, The Long Eaton, Silver prize Band and Jayne Darling will be supporting with music, solos, and community singing, including participation during the ensuing Service.

event timesTicket sales are from the Winding Wheel Box Office and we are pleased to announce that they will cost just £6, available during opening hours. They will also be available on the night from 6 p.m. to 7.20 p.m. (Delays may occur at this late stage so please attend early to avoid disappointment)
The Parade and Muster will commence prompt at 7.20 p.m. and the production will end at 10 p.m. approximately.
