SouthGate Bath has announced the return of its Fire and Rescue event on Sunday 7th September, with the charity challenge set to raise vital funds for Cancer Research UK.
The event will see firefighters from Avon Fire & Rescue Service take on a huge 1,000-mile challenge in just eight hours, using SkiErgs and static bikes stationed at the centre to make up the impressive distance.
The Bath Fire Fighters team will be carrying out the feat, with visitors at the centre able to chip in to help them make up the miles and donate to support Cancer Research UK.
The event has raised £6,000 for Cancer Research UK over the past two years, with the team hoping to raise further funds this year to continue their support of those affected by cancer across Bath.
To make the day even more special, attendees will also have the chance to win a family visit to Bath Fire Station, a class at Marchon Bath, a two-night stay at the Natterjack Estate and a beekeeping experience with Bath Honey Co. at Natterjack Estate.
