Ware Poets - Open Mic & readings from 3 local poets

Ware Poets are delighted to feature three local poets as our guest readers - Suzanne Pountney, Ashton Read and Thomas Anthony Ginn.

Suzanne has always loved creative writing and started writing poetry a few years ago. Ashton takes inspiration from the Romantic poets and has won several local competitions. Thomas’ poetry captures the essence of everyday life with humour and beauty in a way that appeals to both poetry enthusiasts and normal people!

The evening will start will an open mic session, so please feel free to bring and read a poem, followed by readings from our featured poets.

Everyone is welcome - whether to read a poem or to enjoy listening. Bar available.

This event is part of Arts in East Herts which showcases cultural activities in the local area.

Ware Poets host monthly poetry evenings at Southern Maltings in Ware - open mic for the first half, followed by a guest poet reading. Everyone always welcome - whether to read a poem or to enjoy listening. Friendly atmosphere. Bar available.
