THE LADYKILLERS - award winning comedy play comes to Wantage
AmEgos Theatre is thrilled to bring the hilarious comedy play THE LADYKILLERS to Wantage at the end of October.
The Ladykillers is a fabulous adaptation of the classic Ealing comedy and tells the tale of a sweet little old lady, alone in her house, pitted against a gang of criminal misfits who will stop at nothing to carry out the perfect heist ….
Posing as amateur musicians, Professor Marcus and his gang rent a room in the lopsided house of sweet and eccentric Mrs Wilberforce. They plot to involve her unwittingly in Marcus’ brilliantly conceived robbery. The police are left stumped but Mrs Wilberforce becomes wise to their ruse and Marcus concludes that there is only one way to keep the old lady quiet. With only her parrot, General Gordon, to help her, Mrs W. is alone with five desperate men. But who will be forced to face the music?
