The Forum Shopping Centre is proud to announce the launch of the Community Awards 2025, shining a spotlight on the incredible individuals, groups and organisations that go above and beyond to support the local community.
With seven exciting categories, the awards aim to celebrate those who make a real difference in everyday life: Best Teacher, Local Volunteer, Emergency Services Star, Local Charity, The Forum Best Customer Service, The Forum Favourite Retailer and The Forum Employee of the Year. Nominations close by 11am on Friday 17th October with the shortlist voting opening at 3pm Monday 20th October.
This is more than just an awards programme; it’s a celebration of community spirit and a chance to recognise the people who make The Forum Shopping Centre and the wider area such a special place. By recognising the efforts of shop teams and their staff, The Forum Community Awards aim to highlight the value local heroes bring to the Sittingbourne area while also encouraging stronger relationships between businesses and residents. It promotes community spirit, supports local commerce, and creates a positive, rewarding environment where hard work and dedication are acknowledged.
Voting closes at 11am on Monday 10th November and the lucky winners will be announced online via The Forum’s website and social media channels by Friday 14th November. Each winner will receive a £100 voucher to spend at The Forum, plus a commemorative trophy.
